ACTIN’s parent company S Squared began in the 1990’s as an outgrowth of the international telecommunications service development group MobiLink. MobiLink was a consortium of incumbent wireless carriers across the United States, Canada and Mexico. S Squared took over this telecom service development company and rebranded under the name:
S Squared divested the service development business and its patented telecom technologies in 2001. It was at this time that S Squared began developing and focusing on the small-to-mid sized organization and their telecommunications needs. The new company name was Actin.
